Big Day Out

Yesterday Milo and I had our first solo outing and I think it was quite a success! First we went to the pediatrician, where he got a clean bill of health and weighed in at 8 lbs 10 oz. Then we went to a medical lab for the last round of newborn screening tests. Then we went to visit Daddy at work and meet his coworkers, and then we went to the mall so I could get fitted properly for a nursing bra. Of course right when we got to the mall it was time for Milo to eat so I had my first experience breastfeeding in public (using my adorable nursing cover Doug got me for Christmas)... if the "Ladies Lounge" at Nordstrom counts as public. Seriously, if you ever need to breastfeed in a mall, head straight for Nordstrom - it was really nice in there. Milo was so good, he slept most of the time until he ate, and then he was wide awake just chilling in his stroller the rest of the time!

And of course he impressed everyone with his cuteness....
