Dear Milo -
I can't believe my little baby's BIRTHDAY is in just one short month! You are turning into such a little boy. When I look at pictures from just a couple months ago its amazing to me how much older you look at this point! Such a handsome little man now!
Its been quite a month! You got sick for the first time this month. A 10+ month healthy streak - not too bad at all! I think it even might be a baby record! But alas, it had to end sometime and you got a fever for a couple days, and then a cough that lasted a few days after that. All in all, not too bad, and you handled it like a champ!
You have been on the move like crazy this month! You're standing unsupported for longer and longer times now. You're also cruising around furniture at super speed, holding on with just one hand, and barely that, and I see you eying furniture or toys that you want to get to, trying to figure out the fastest way to get there. I think its only a matter of time before you're walking!
You love watching Sesame Street, especially ELMO! And you also love the Backyardigans. This one makes me a little crazy with all the insane singing going on, but it makes you so happy, I can't argue with that! You love exploring the whole house nowadays, and though your toys are fun, OUR stuff is even more fun! We still have your jumperoo and exersaucer out, not to put you inside them, but because you love to walk around the outside of them to play with the toys.
You love to chase after Bella still and you've figured out how to play fetch with her this month. Even if you don't throw the toys far, you still get a kick out of throwing things for her and she gets them, even if she doesn't have to go far. You laugh and laugh when she is around and love her so much, but we are still working on teaching you to be gentle with her. She's good with you though, even when you get a little too excited and grab at her feet or tail!
What else can I say on this, the last month before the big birthday? You are such a sweet, loving little boy, but with quite a strong will that you are showing us more every day! Its been a pretty low key month, with you being sick, and the cold weather getting here, but a great one nonetheless!
